Their are many different cultural attractions in Repùblica Dominicana too. Their is the National Place in Santo Domingo which you can visit the Presidential office, the Hall of the Caryatid, the Mahogany room and the Hall of the Ambassadors. This beautiful white marble building is something the Repùblica Dominicana takes great pride in. The Ozama Fortress is the oldest European fort that was built to protect them against pirates in the 16th century, this is also in Santo Domingo. The Altos de Chavon is a replica of what a European city looked like in the medieval century. Bonoa is one the funnest places to go among tourists. This is a city that always has excitement, it is known for the month of February because this whole month is dedicated to the loud and bright carnival Caribbean style. Lastly, the Colombus Lighthouse Monument is well known too. This building is in the shape of the cross and it 210 meters tall.
